System Overview
The system consists of:
- A central boiler system. The size and specifications for the boiler depend on the product to be cleaned and the number of cleaning systems to be installed. Typically we tap into a facility’s existing boiler if it has sufficient excess capacity. If not, we will work with the customer to source and have installed an appropriate unit.
- A cleaning module. The inline cleaning module typically takes up between 3 and 6 feet in the production line and has multiple configurable chambers that allow for cleaning, drying and some surface treatments.
- A control console – the system is operated via an arm mounted touch screen and PLC. Two stainless cabinets containing the electronics and mechanical components are mounted in a stand that can be positioned anywhere within 10 to 20 feet of the inline cleaning module. In the mechanical cabinet we control the various steam parameters including pressure, temperature, moisture and volume/flow.
- A waste tank with auto dump valve and a vacuum system. Large regenerative blowers create a vacuum in various chambers in the cleaning module pulling away all soils and moisture to a large waste tank. The waste tank automatically dumps its contents to in-house water treatment or directly to drain.
- As an option, a high volume steam lance can be provided for cleaning and degreasing plant equipment and surfaces without chemicals and using minimal water.
